Gary, working as a Maintenance Planner / Engineer, has considerable experience in maintenance planning, systems and processes along with fleet management operational and maintenance experience. Having a military background, Gary is well versed in the need for systems and processes to be efficient and effective inorder to ensure that the operational assets are ready and available when needed.

OpEx undertakes detailed Life Cycle Costing Analysis for Two Key Clients

OpEx Management Ltd has recently commenced two separate projects relating to the development of a detailed Life Cycle Costing Model to determine the future financial spend on the operational assets over the next 15 year period. This analysis and report will provide both clients the opportunity to further develop their current asset management programmes to further optimise the performance (financially and operationally) of there assets as a result of this analysis.

OpEx Services extends Maintenance Management Contract

Due to the success and performance of OpEx Services Ltd 12 month turnaround contract at one of Christchurch's largest manufacturing organisations, a renewable year-on-year maintenance management agreement has been entered into. OpEx develops Preventative Maintenance Programme

Due to increasing capability within the Team OpEx, OpEx has been engaged by one of the largest manufacturers in the upper North Island to develop a Preventative Maintenance Programme for their critical assets. This detailed maintenance programme is aimed at ensuring the plant Uptime is maximised while ensuring the life of the assets is not compromised. This PM Programme is also another key activity in the clients overall Maintenance Improvement Programme that is moving them further towards a state of Maintenance Excellence.
OpEx Management commences Critical Spares Analysis Process

OpEx Management recently commenced a comprehensive analysis process to determine which spares are truly critical across three manufacturing facilities within New Zealand. The Critical Spares Analysis process will allow the client to improve the current spare parts management strategy for the formally defined critical assets which will result in improved stock holding levels and improved service performance of the Engineering Stores within the Group.
